Tree Service in Vaughan, Done in One Visit
Tree Service Master removes, trims and grinds out trees for Vaughan homes and businesses, and the whole point is speed. You call or text (289) 444-0864, we come out the same day with a firm price, and most single-tree jobs finish in one visit with the yard cleaned before we leave.
Four Services, One Truck
- Tree removal: dead, leaning, storm-split or ash trees, taken down in sections and lowered on ropes where there is anything to protect underneath.
- Trimming and pruning: deadwood out, limbs lifted off the roof, crowded crowns thinned so wind passes through.
- Stump grinding: 15 to 30 cm below grade, usually under an hour per stump.
- Full stump removal: stump and root ball out, for patios, footings or a new tree in the same spot.
The chipper, the rigging and the stump grinder ride together. That is why a removal and its stump can happen on the same day, with no second booking.
What Moves the Price
The price table above shows typical Canadian ranges for 2026, not our price list. Where your job lands inside a range depends on a handful of things you can check yourself before we arrive.
Access, what sits under the branches, the state of the wood and the number of trees move a job up or down inside its band. The tree removal cost guide breaks each factor down.
How Fast a Job Moves
Day one is the call and the on-site quote. Once you say yes, we book the work right away, often within days. On job day the crew sets up, does the work and loads every branch into the chipper or onto the truck. Cleanup happens before we leave, so you won’t find a brush pile waiting for a second trip.
Vaughan Neighbourhoods We Work In
- Woodbridge: big silver and Norway maples on the older streets, many of them now leaning over roofs and hydro lines.
- Maple: boulevard and backyard ash planted with the subdivisions, most of it killed by emerald ash borer.
- Kleinburg: large lots near the Humber valley, where TRCA rules can apply on top of the City permit.
- Concord: commercial and industrial lots where the work has to fit around parking and business hours.
- Thornhill: mature canopy on the Vaughan side west of Yonge, with tight lots and close neighbours.
- Vellore Village: newer homes with fenced yards and narrow side gates, so wood leaves by hand.
- Sonoma Heights: spruce and maple planted in the 1990s and 2000s, now big enough to crowd houses.
- Patterson: small backyards and ash along the streets, plus stumps left from City ash removals.
Removal or a Trim: How We Call It
We check five things on the visit: dead wood in the crown, cracks in the trunk or at a fork, soft or hollow wood at the base, a lean that has shifted since last year, and roots lifting the soil or a walkway. Two or more of those usually means removal. One dead limb over the driveway usually means a trim at a fraction of the price. You get both numbers when both make sense.
Jobs We Do Most Weeks
- A dead ash in a Maple or Patterson backyard, taken down in pieces over the fence
- Silver maple limbs cut back off a Woodbridge roof and gutters
- A storm-split tree cleared from a driveway so the car can get out
- Three or four old stumps ground out before new sod goes down
- A spruce too close to the foundation removed before a renovation
For any of these, a text with a photo lets us arrive with the right gear, which keeps the job to one visit.
City of Vaughan Permits
Under By-law 177-2025, a private tree with a trunk 20 cm or wider, measured 1.37 m above the ground, needs a City permit before it comes down, and every City-owned tree is protected at any size. Dead, hazardous and ash trees still need a permit, but with no fee and no replacement planting. A healthy tree that size needs a permit with an arborist report. On the quote visit we tell you whether your tree likely falls under the rule. Boulevard trees belong to the City: call Vaughan Public Works at 905-832-8585 for those.
What Comes With Every Job
- An on-site quote on the day you call, free
- A straight answer on removal versus a trim
- Sectional takedown with ropes near houses, fences and gardens
- Wood hauled away, or cut into rounds and stacked if you want it
- Chips raked and the driveway swept before the truck leaves
We work Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm. Text a photo of the tree to (289) 444-0864 and tell us the street.
